It was in the 1950s that the grandfather, Bertazzi Andrea concentrated the production of wine and oil with, subsequently the help of his son Giuseppe, also expanding the land planted with vines and olive trees.
Today the management of the Bertazzi Andrea company continues with the help of the family. The land is located in the hilly area of the town (the Morainic hills) in Castelletto, one of the oldest and most characteristic districts with a wonderful view of Lake Garda on Mount Baldo and nearby local mountains.
The company grows native Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, Barbera, Rebo, Incontro Manzoni, Chardonay and Reesling vines for the production of Riviera Garda Classico Dop, Igt and Tavola wines. The varieties of olive trees grown are Casaliva, typical of the area, Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Moraiolo for the production of oil.
